Miss Benavidez is excited to continue as the Colorguard Director here at Sachse High School. Prior to this, Miss B was the Colorguard Director at Lake Dallas High School in 2020-2021 and the assistant Director at Melissa high school/Middle school from 2019-2020. 

Miss Benavidez grew up in Sachse, Texas where she graduated from Sachse High School in 2017. While in high school, she played the trombone for four years, performed with the winterguard for two, and was a Sachse Drum Major her senior year. Miss B currently lives in Sachse, TX with her Significant other and her two fur babies Luna and Kai.

As a performer Miss Benavidez competed in the Drum Corps International World Championships with the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps in 2019. She was contracted to join Crossmen in 2020 but was unable to perform due to the pandemic. Miss B has also performed in the NTCA winterguard group “Black Gold” in 2020.

Miss Benavidez loves to teach and is happy to be back in Sachse where her love for band began.
